Former Bayern Munich tremendous prolific winger Arjen Robben has announced his retirement from professional football, aged 35.
Robben enjoyed an illustrious playing career as he plied his trade with some of the biggest clubs in world football.
He began his career at Groningen before sealing a switch across the Netherlands. He made his name at PSV Eindhoven where Chelsea signed him from in 2004.
Robben won two Premier League titles, two League Cups and the FA Cup during his spell in England.
In 2007, the Dutchman secured a huge transfer to Real Madrid. He spent two seasons in Spain where he won the La Liga title.
Robben then moved to Bayern Munich in 2009. He spent 10 trophy-laden seasons in Germany as he won an impressive eight Bundesliga titles.
