The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bole- Bamboi Alhaji Yusif Sulemana has donated 1,100 pieces of mathematical sets to Ghana Education Service (GES) Director for Bole District for onward distribution to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the District who are to write their exams next week.
The donation which was done on behalf of the MP by some Executives of the NDC for the Bole- Bamboi Constituency is in fulfillment of the pledge of the MP to help BECE candidates with a mathematical set each every year.
The MP has always recalled his inability to purchase a mathematical set before he sat for the BECE examination and it has been in his mind since then hence do not want any BECE student to be in the situation he was.
Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi Fm, the MP for Bole- Bamboi Hon Yusif Sulemana admonished the candidates to take their studies seriously. He said; “There will be a cut off point at aggregate 25 this year before you can enjoy the free SHS and for that matter, you must pass and pass well before the computer will place you.”
