Lazio joins the race for Swansea City forward Andre Ayew before the close of the European transfer window.
The Ghana captain, 29, returns to Swansea after spending last season on loan at Fenerbahce.
Ayew was a Swansea club-record £18m signing in January 2018 after rejoining from West Ham United, but the club’s fall into the Championship has forced them to cut costs.
The attacker’s future at Swansea has been the subject of speculation all summer with Bremen and Sampdoria expressing.
Ayew has been impressive in recent weeks for Swansea, with two goals in his first appearance of the season against Northampton in the Carabao Cup and helping the club to an unbeaten start to the campaign in the Championship.
